About Me
Hey, Chad again,
Thanks for visiting my blog. I got married two years ago to my childhood sweetheart. Our wedding was one of the best days of my life, but I remember how my best friend, who was my best man, stumbled and stuttered for the right words to convey his feelings of joy and love for Nancy and I. Of course, he was half in the bag at that point, which didn’t help.
When my younger brother Frank asked me to be his best man, I was truly honored and truly terrified. Now I am a trader on Wall Street who is used to dealing with pressure, but speaking in public to a large group, even if they are family and friends at a wedding, gave me the willies. I would rather run my fingernails down a chalkboard.
I have provided several links along with tips, tools, and tactics showing you how I pulled it all together and became the eloquent, yet amusingly entertaining speaker during my best man wedding speeches. I think I remember making many that night.
What a rush! Frank was the happiest guy in the world that day and I did him proud as his best man.
